Here is a Secretary General known for his commitment and capability in the cause of Agents Service. Shyamal Chakraborty was rightly re-elected unanimously for the post of Secretary General of LIAFI in the General Elections held in Delhi during the General Council Meeting on 7th and 8th Feb 2009.

Smart and humble Shyamal Chakraborty has taken over charge from Brij Bhooshan Chandhoke the immediate past Secretary General. He was elected in the General Body Meeting held at Raipur in January 2006.

During his tenure of Secretary General of LIAFI Chakraborty has revolutionalised the LIAFI moment across the length and breadth of the country. It is in his tenure that the Central Office has started taking a serious note of LIAFI 1964 as a force to reckon with. He has established Divisional and Zonal Councils in various parts of the country identifying the ideal leaders to lead them.

It is during the tenure of Chakraborty LIAFI started to generate and spend money of its own. He has strived extremely hard in creating considerable amounts of reserves and resources for LIAFI to ensure that the Leaders, at the helm of the affairs don’t have to turn their back towards LIAFI responsibilities on account of want of money.
